At THEWATCHPROJECT, authenticity is our highest priority. Every single watch undergoes a strict verification process conducted by one of our professional watchmakers before it is ever offered for sale.
After we acquire a watch, it is sent without exception to our watchmaker. There, the watch is opened and thoroughly inspected. The case, bracelet, and movement are carefully examined to ensure the watch is 100% original.
Following the authentication process, the watch is tested for water resistance. Only after successfully passing all checks is the watch professionally photographed and listed in our shop.
This process guarantees that every watch sold by THEWATCHPROJECT is genuine and meets the highest quality standards.
We use the following condition classifications:
• Unworn: The watch is new and has never been worn. There are no signs of use of any kind.
• Like New: The watch may have been worn but shows no visible signs of wear.
• Very Good: The watch is pre-owned and may show very light surface scratches, but no dents, deep scratches, or damage.
• Good: The watch is pre-owned and shows a small number of scratches or minor marks. These can typically be removed during professional refinishing.
• Satisfactory: The watch shows clear signs of wear, including visible scratches or dents.
Upon request, we are happy to provide you with a personalized video of any watch, recorded with an iPhone and sent directly to you (e.g. via WhatsApp), so you can form your own detailed impression.
In general, the watches we offer range from unworn to good condition. We do not purchase or sell watches in poor condition.
If you see a watch you are interested in, you can contact us at any time via phone or WhatsApp at +33 6 43 91 67 33, or place your order directly through our online shop.
After completing your order (online, by phone, or via WhatsApp), you will receive an order confirmation by email. We will then send you the invoice by email and/or WhatsApp.
You may pay the invoice in full by bank transfer, or make a 10% deposit and pay the remaining balance in cash upon collection.
Please note: A valid government-issued ID is required for every payment method, without exception.
Once payment is received, we arrange either delivery to your address or an appointment for collection at our showroom. In most cases, watches are shipped or made available for collection on the same day payment is received.
Delivery usually takes place on the next business day after shipment, unless you request a specific delivery date.
Yes, you can view and try on a watch without obligation by scheduling an appointment for collection.
If you decide on-site that the watch does not meet your expectations, we will cancel the purchase and refund the full purchase price immediately.
This approach allows us to dedicate sufficient time to each client while ensuring that all watches remain in pristine condition and are not tried on excessively.
We offer the following payment options:
For shipped orders:

• PayPal or credit card (subject to prior approval)
For in-person collection:
• Bank transfer in advance
• Cash payment up to a maximum amount of €10,000, with prior deposit by bank transfer
